|The Rise and Fall of Fan Boy||After|
Dedicated to all the fan boys out there that make doing this so much fun.
I was really depressed after the dice fiasco. I decided that I should go and get a nice meal at Burger Station. It was early and they still had some of the good people on the grill and frier. I decided that I might as well get my usual. A few burgers, fries and then some milk shakes.
They brought it out to me and I ate it all. It was good and I got myself a little more together. I went home and confronted my mother. She was talkative and we spent many minutes talking about what happened. How she didn't respect my space and just went in and threw things away without thinking of what would happen.
She listened to me before saying that if I didn't like I could leave.
I was thinking that I might go and then I decided I should. I was sick and tired of having to deal with that woman's rules so I began packing up my stuff.
I was cleaning the room and I found this old picture of my mom and my dad and me. I looked at it for a few minutes before throwing it in the bag and collecting my books. It took me all day to get things together and then I saw my empty room.
It was sad to see the whole place empty like that. It was the one place that was mine for years. It had become my sanctuary and now it was gone.
My little piece of the world was gone.
I didn't have anywhere to go put I did have the money for a motel room for a while until I could get an apartment. Everything would have ended up good. I could feel it in my bones. This was a fresh start and everything was going to be fine.
I decided to stop off at Burger Station and get something to eat before getting a room. I was in a worse mood and got a lot more. It was called the Captain's Combo and it had lots of food. It was meant for me and I felt good eating all that food and feeling up. It tasted so good but I had to hurry because the motels would be closing soon. I took it with me and got on the road.
I was driving and eating a burgar and drinking the shake. Driving around and then the rain came. It was falling and it was kind of bad. I slowed down but things seemed different at night and I was slowly getting lost.
I took a long slug from my milk shake and stared around.
Nothing look familiar and I was getting frustrated. I couldn't find it. The rain was letting up and I decided to speed up a bit. I had to find that motel before it was too late and I couldn't find the place. Everything was just getting worse. Nothing around. Everything was strange. Then I didn't know where I was. I was lost but it looked like a straight road ahead and some lights but the road was getting weird. So I floored it a bit and took the turn.
